I was skeptical at first that this program would help me after years of shift work and then having young kids, but within a month or so I was able to fall sleep quickly and stay asleep better than I have in years. This program was literally a lifesaver. I went through hellish insomnia, and knew I wanted to do CBT-I but found it so hard to find support and coaching. I did a lot of research before signing up for Sleep Reset. I was impressed with the strategies employed and the integration of information gleaned from the Mayo Clinic, the NIH CBT- I program, and Stanford University.

The interaction with a sleep coach is helpful and the daily logging of sleep provides a useful picture of both challenges and progress. The lessonscompleted throughout gave me a solid foundation of knowledge and techniques to improve my sleep.

I used to travel frequently to Japan and South Korea, and even Afghanistan. These trips gave me a fractured circadian rhythm. I’ve been on pills for Sleep for probably 12 years. My doctor has been suggesting I do a “sleep study” for insomnia for almost a year but I never wanted to because it sounded like a huge hassle. I pictured myself filling out a lot of paperwork or staying overnight at a lab. I’m pretty sure this app is the equivalent of a sleep study at a fraction of the cost and inconvenience. I started the program only 10 days ago and I have been following 90% of the recommendations and doing all of the prompts. In just 10 days I went from having long term, severe insomnia (0-3 hours of sleep a night) to 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night. I feel so much better. I am confident that if I continue the program I will improve my sleep even more, and I will solidify the habits that I’m learning from the app and make then lifelong habits. I honestly had no idea how poor my sleep habits were. Even though I had heard all about “sleep hygiene”- I knew not to look at my phone at night or drink coffee in the afternoon, for example- this app has taught me so much more and clearly, the suggestions work. I would definitely recommend giving this app a try, so long as you are really ready to do what it says. Can I use insurance?

Definitely! We are in network with several insurance plans and are constantly expanding coverage. You’ll be able to enter your insurance information into our insurance checker at the end of our sleep assessment to determine if you’re in network. Depending on your coverage, you may or may not owe some costs related to copays, coinsurance, or your deductible after billing.

If you're not in network today, we can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement.

Can I meet with a sleep clinician even if my insurance is not in network?

Yes! You can still meet with a sleep clinician licensed in your state and you have a few payment options:

1) we can provide you with a superbill (itemized invoice) if you would like to submit for out-of-network insurance.
2) we can provide you with a superbill (itemized invoice) if you would like to submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
3) you can use your HSA or FSA cards as your primary payment method.

If I use insurance, are there any other fees?

No! There are no other subscription fees if you are covered by insurance. You will be responsible for your co-pay and deductible (if applicable) depending on your insurance plan and coverage.

How many sessions with a sleep clinician will I have covered?

Why do you require a credit card when I have insurance coverage?

We require a credit card to be kept on file for any co-pays or co-insurance, and for our late cancellation or no-show policy. You will only be responsible for a no-show fee if you fail to show up to your appointment or attempt to cancel it within 24 hours of the appointment start time.

What does copayment, coinsurance, or deductible mean?

Even if you are in-network, you could be responsible for additional cost-share fees like copayments, coinsurance, or the full cost of services until you meet your deductible. Each plan is different, so you should refer to your plan’s benefits or contact your insurance company if you have questions about the details of your plan.

Copayment (copay): A fixed amount you pay for covered services at the time of your visit.
Coinsurance: A percentage of the costs of a covered healthcare service you pay after your deductible.
Deductible: The amount you need to pay out of pocket for healthcare services before your health insurance plan begins to cover costs.

Your insurance company will send you an explanation of benefits (EOB) outlining any additional costs. For copays and your deductible, you might be able to offset costs by using tax-free dollars from a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA). Check your plan for details.

If you use insurance to cover the cost of your services, you can check your insurance estimate at the end of our assessment.

When will I be charged for my co-pay or co-insurance (if applicable)?

You pay nothing at the point of sign up. If your insurance includes a co-pay or co-insurance, you will be charged for that cost after your clinician visit.

What if my insurance denies my claim?

If your insurance is in-network and they deny your claim, you will only be responsible for your co-pay. We will not charge you the insurance portion of any previous sessions. If you wish to continue working with your sleep clinician, we will personally reach out to discuss payment options for future visits.

Does Sleep Reset bill out-of-network claims?

We do not handle the billing for a plan that is out-of-network. However, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. It will be your responsibility to inquire with your insurance regarding your benefits. You will pay the cost for the clinician consultation and treatment at the time of your visit.

Can I consult with a sleep clinician if I'm international?

Yes, even if you are based outside of the U.S., we can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your country's insurance if they reimburse for overseas clinicians.
