I have dealt with sleeping issues for many years. It seemed like the only time I could get a decent sleep was by taking sleeping pills. However, my body had become immune to the pills, so I felt hopeless. It took my forever to fall asleep, and I would wake up many times each night. I would lay in bed, frustrated that I’m not able to fall back asleep. This resulted in only getting around 3-5 hours of sleep each night. I ended up reading a book (Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker) which talked about scientific methods to getting natural sleep. I started Somryst and Sleep Reset at the same time. Sleep Reset worked better for me of the 2 programs. I started having insomnia several years ago due to work-related stress. The stress resolved but by that time my body had become habituated to waking during the night for several hours. I’ve tried lots of different things including exercise and melatonin to help but realized I needed a structured program. My doctor has been suggesting I do a “sleep study” for insomnia for almost a year but I never wanted to because it sounded like a huge hassle.
